Projects

We are currently working on a grant from the Champlain Valley Heritage Partnership that focuses on the regional logging industry and its impact on Warren County.

Major funding is being explored for a grand exhibit, Warren County 360, which will be the centerpiece of our new facility at 50 Gurney Lane, Queensbury.  Research and design will take place over the next 12 – 18 months.  We are seeking individual and corporate sponsors to assist us in developing and mounting this display, which will allow us to offer new and contemporary interpretations of the complex and intriguing themes of our county’s history and evolution.

We are interested in offering an internship program for Warren County high school students, called “History in the Making.” Students would work with us on real historical projects while learning the skills of professional historians.  If you or someone you know may be interested, please contact us at 518 – 743 – 0734.
